Dude some coffee's in the US cost maaaaaaaaad dough, most of these coffee's are found in starbucks. A place draven probably frequents often. nah, i can't stand starbucks... a cup of coffee that costs the same amount as a meal elsewhere. No thank you...I usually brew Tim Horton's coffee at home.

But now he does... well, i wouldn't think he would have had any way of knowing...but either way, it was fairly funny comeback on his part. On a side note, on the way into work this morning, i heard a pretty funny comedy bit from Lewis Black, where he began by stating that in the past, people thought the end of the universe was somewhere out in space...he actually found it in Houston, TX. He did a show, left the club and walked down the street to a corner, and looked at a Starbuck's. He then looked across the street, to find...another Starbuck's. He knew this was the end of the universe, because his watch stopped in that precise spot.

Tim Hortons is a donut shop? yeah..it is practically a Canadian institution. In one area where I live, there is a full size Tim Horton's, a drive thru only Tim Horton's, and a Tim Horton's Express inside a gas station, and they are all in a radius of probably 200 -300 yards. When my youngest daughter was born, she was 9 weeks early...being that premature, she spent time in the neo-natal intensive care unit immediately after birth. One of the thinghs they do as treatment to stimulate the lungs is give caffeine shots...I joked that it was their way of hooking people on Tim Horton's right at birth.

Our major chains here are Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks.
But you can get decent Ice Coffee at McDonalds still. I like to stop in and get there Large Sweet Tea for $1.06.

Damn your maccas is cheap the only thing we can get at maccas for even under$2 is a soft serve. well, and no offence to anyone on here like Christine or bbsy, but America is the land of excess. McDonald's has a Dollar Menu with a bunch of items for only $1...here in Canada, we see lots of TV ads from the US, with places like Checkers with 2 BIG double burgers for $3, etc... but, This thread is supposed to be about coffee, damnit...COFFEE!!!!!!!!!

We call them (Checkers) Rallys up here and I've found outside of the fries, they're kind of gross. Well, they did have this double cheeseburger with bacon, barbecue sauce and onion rings, that was tolerable. Of course, I could only eat half of it before wanting to vomit. I only had once, though. It's one of those things you have limit to once a year to avoid any sort of bypass.
As for coffee, I can only drink it if half of it is creamer and even then only when desperate. White Castle has the cheapest, but it tastes like death.
