Subzero was killed in the movie, and scorpion was dead, then rekilled in the movie. Johnny Cage my favorite from the first movie was made out like a bitch in the second one and got his neck snapped within 10 minutes of the movie, and I'm pretty sure they killed mad barakas in the second one, so technically speaking in movie kayfabe, all four kombatants are already dead.
