Futurama - I can't say I care much for the 'movies' but I think the shows original run had at least 2 more seasons of life into it.
Family Guy - The only show ever cancelled 5 times and still be on the air. What was the deal with it being cancelled after season 2 in the first place?
Dexter's Lab - Named toon of the milenium in 2000 then cancelled like that same week. The relaunched version had no soul whatsoever but I guess they just wanted to focus on the Powerpuff Girls
Farscape - Most sci fi shows were hit and miss but Farscape had alot more decent eps that crap ones. Heck things like Voyager managed 7 seasons. Okay so basically it was Muppets in Space with guns and a few made up swear words but it was a decent show inspite of its production values

They only ever planned to make those 4 movies which will be broken up into episodes with supposedly additional material. Wasn't there a studio falling out to do with Arrested Development which made production difficult? Or am I thinking of another show. But yeah it was a great show.

Firefly, American Gothic, Red Dwarf.
Arrested Development died because nobody watched it. They could buy all the Emmy's in the world, unfortunately between that and Ron Howard they pissed away all their money for decent scriptwriters. I guess they hired aggresive college students too wrapped in their self-genius to make the show 'funny funny'.

Well it didn't help that the star of Red Dwarf got arrested on a trumped up rape charge which shut production down for a long time. Seasons 7 & 8 were terrible anyway...slapstick comedy to action comedy to dramatic comedy just doesn't work.

I heard that Christian Slater show was good, I personally liked PainKiller Jane, Alias was canceled early, I fear House will be canceled shortly as well.

Never heard of Wonder Falls, but the others were great, but Carmen Electra was a bad choice for Six, the other woman was better.

There was a movie? Last I heard they were going to make one, lol.
To the List I add:
Weird Science- lasted a few Seasons on the USA network than shifted to Sci-fi without me knowing and canceled after a year. Never saw the last season.
Stargate-SG1- lasted 5 seasons on showtime moved to Sci-fi for season 6, season 6 was supposed to be the series finally, but it's great fans wanted more! Thank God because I lost my cable around season 4 and when I finally got it back I had no Stargate! Then I got Sci-fi channel shortly after... ;D. Then they do season 7 and then 8 and say they want it canceled, but again fans want more so they say, "ok you got two more seasons then screw you it's canceled!" They immediately made the two movies after season ten... a third is in the works. Maybe a big budget one in the future.
Stargate-Atlantis- mediocre first season, great season 2 and 3, season 4 sucked until the very end, season 5 was good, but too bad it's being canceled and movies are on the way.

Just looked it up.
It was supposed to be released late 08 but was held back and will now be released on DVD in Febuary so I'll be looking out for that one.
If I'm lucky I'll be living in Brisbane by he time it's released so it shouldnt be as hard to find as it would be if I was still in Parkes.

Moonlight was canceled last season, I liked that show.
K-ville, the past year, was pretty good. That didn't even make it a full season.
The 4400, I didn't get to even figure that out before it was canceled!
Can't say Buffy or Angel were canceled to soon, they both had long runs...
I know theres more I can't think of

I figured K-ville would be cancelled whether it was good or not. I am surprized however that the 4400 was, I thought that show was a hit though I never watched it.
Sadly, anything trying to make the tinest of points gets thrown out like yesterday's garbage and the crap like reality tv and other mind numbing stupid shows stay on the air.
Buffy really was on it's last leg at the end, it should have been canceled sooner. Angel should have been started sooner, but it remained a fairly decent show for it's run.
