Free agency roundup: All the deals from NFL's moving day
Several big deals were finished on Friday, the first day of the NFL's free agency. USA TODAY wraps up the all the moves:
• Haynesworth in Washington: The Redskins made the biggest splash early in the day when they announced a deal with DT Albert Haynesworth at about 7:30 a.m. ET. The sides agreed on a seven-year deal worth $100 million that will makes Haynesworth the highest-paid defensive player in the game. MORE
• Winslow traded: The Browns sent TE Kellen Winslow to the Buccaneers for undisclosed draft picks. Winslow, unhappy last season in Cleveland, said he was excited to get a new start in Tampa. MORE
• Stability in Tennessee: The Titans agreed to a two-year deal to keep starting QB Kerry Collins with the team. Collins is likely to remain the starter ahead of Vince Young next season. MORE
• Hall goes nowhere: The Redskins also made the earliest deal of the day when they announced an agreement to retain CB DeAngelo Hall. He returned to Washington for six years and $54 million, with $22.5 million guaranteed. MORE
• Taylor-made in New England: The Patriots signed RB Fred Taylor, who was released by Jacksonville earlier in the monrth. MORE
• Vilma returning: The Saints re-signed LB Jonathan Vilma to a five-year deal worth $23 million with $17 million guaranteed. MORE
• Ravens find CB: Baltimore agreed to a deal with CB Domonique Foxworth, who played last season in Atlanta. Foxworth joined for four years and $28 million, with $16.5 million guaranteed. MORE
• New QB in Minnesota: The Vikings completed a trade with Houston for QB Sage Rosenfels, who signed a two-year, $9 million extension with his new team. The Texans received an undisclosed draft pick in return. Rosenfels will compete with Tarvaris Jackson for the Vikings starting job. MORE
• Kemoeatu spurns Jets: The Steelers retained LG Chris Kemoeatu with a five-year, $20 million deal. Kemoeatu turned down an offer from the Jets, with whom he could have been reunited with former Steelers teammate Alan Faneca. MORE
