Thanks everyone, it's been a rough couple days but somehow he is actually improving.
Basically, one of his lungs had shut down and the other was working at half, and he had an infection in his respiratory system (he smoked for over 50 years), and he was given last rites and had papers signed and everything. Considering he is in a rinky dink hospital and how bad he was I don't know what to call this besides a miracle. This is why I continue to believe in the power of prayer.
Thanks again everyone, your thoughts and words meant a lot to me.

Just got back from the hospital (I had to travel states). He's improving. Seriously, thank you all for your prayers and support. It means a lot to me.

I haven't been on here as often and only reply to the newest topics. I'm sorry to hear that your grandpa is ill, on the upside I'm happy to hear that since this thread was posted he has improved. I hope he continues to get well. You'll be suprised how much strength grandpas have my grandpa survived cancer twice the second time he was in his early seventies. My other grandpa wasn't so lucky.
