Lol. I really should be there also. I kept putting it off for some reason. My parents actually offered to pay for driving lessons for me as my Christmas gift when I was around 17-18 but I turned them down because I thought it was too much. Even if I passed my test after the minimum number of lessons, it would still have been pretty expensive. I wish now that I had took them up on their offer.

It wasn’t too bad. I was a little nervous at first, but I suppose it went well enough. I’m still alive at least.

Well that's good. When do you learn to parallel park? Good luck with that one. I only passed that part because it was May and the air conditioner in my first car didn't work, so the lady talked me through it so we could go back inside, lol.

I wish I had a female instructor. ;D I've no idea, all I done today was childs work, I've already read up on everything so much that I thought I would be immediatetly comfortable with accelerating, parking and shit, but once your actually in there it's a different story lol. My next lesson is on Thursday. I'm hoping to be ready to sit my test before the end of the summer.

Had you ever gotten behind the wheel before? I remember the first time my sister let me drive on a back road I was so surprised to find that the car will move without you pressing the gas, lol.

My Uncle showed me around his car and gave me a bunch of tips, but I never got to actually drive. We don't really have any quiet areas around here to take that risk lol.
Although, I didn't have the heart to tell him that all the advice he was giving me was pretty much basic common knowledge. I just had to smile and politely listen to him go on for an hour and a half lol.

It was probably in the stars that we would live in different countries. The way you go on, the thought of us on the same roads sounds like something out of Twisted Metal, lol.

I did think of that crazy chase scene from Doomsday when I first got behind the wheel.

They took that off the driving test here in California(thank god). I hated my driving instructor. He was this Iranian guy with a thick accent. And he was an asshole too. I remember when he'd try tell me stuff, he'd like mumble it. Not only was it hard to understand his accent, it was hard to hear. It was more of me trying to decipher what he had said rather than learn to drive. Ultimately I ended up yelling at him on the last day. It went down something like him telling me I'm doing something wrong and me yelling "I can't fucking understand you!"

Its dumb. I've only had to parallel park once and there were no other cars around so I just drove into the spot.

Good luck.
My great-uncle gave us driving lessons. Mostly he took us by a lot of cemeteries, old relatives' homes, and he showed us where and how to spot a male hooker. My cousin did end up hitting another car on her second lesson and I may have U-Turned into oncoming traffic and stopped in the middle of the intersection. So, yeah I don't drive.

Lol. In Drivers Ed I pulled out in front of an 18 wheeler, so naturally, I slammed on brakes in the middle of the lane. I think the girl in the backseat started hyperventalating and my teacher started yelling at me to go. Needless to say, he took over the wheel when we got off the highway.

That's hilarious. I don't know what they expected your reaction to be.
Outside of an actual car, I'm probably even worse. I ran into my aunt's greenhouse in their go-kart and almost hit a chipmunk and another golf cart in one of those.

Go-karts are too extreme for me. Bumper cars are awesome though. Although one time I screwed my neck up pretty bad when I seemingly became the main target of every single person on the grid for some unknown reason.

Thanks! Judging by the first 2 lessons, I think I'll need it. I'm confident I'm gonna ace the theory test though. ;D

It won't necessarily be in the final test, but I will be taught it. I've heard some nightmare stories regarding that, lol.
