Last night, George Carlin, 71 passed away at St. Johns Health Center in L.A. The time of death was 5:55 p.m. The cause of death appears to be heart failure. Carlin had a history of heart problems.

His 50 year career in comedy, brought us 22 solo albums, and 3 best selling books, not to mention countless laughs.
