SYNOPSIS

I hope Akuma is in this... Won't hold out though. Think it's odd they focused on her and not Ryu or Ken, but it's something, at least it can't be as bad as the other one. Cringe, Dust, STFU! |

Akuma was wasted in that Street Fighter Alpha movie.
Poor Chun Li really doesn't get much respect in these Street Fighter animes
Totally pointless T&A shower scene in Street Fighter 2 the Movie. Heck the main selling point of the DVD release was the scene was fully restored after so many butchered edits of the movie.
Street Fighter Alpha there were more shots of her butt than there were of her face.

Still find it weird that Shang Tsung will be playing Hiehachi in Tekken.

Street fighter II the animated movie was great! It had the characters portrayed the best. and stuck to the storrylines. Leave it to a chick to cry about the one nude scene...  oh and I said for you to STFU because you two always gry about the original always being better, even when it's absolute crap. Cringe, there was an Alpha movie? never saw it. |

Cringe, there was an Alpha movie? never saw it. Then perhaps you should hold your tongue  The Street Fighter 2 animated movie was great I merely had issue that Chun Li was reduced to eye candy. There was a bit too much focus on the Japanese characters which I suppose makes up for the live action one focusing on the Guile. But Honda had more screen time then half the cast put together. If you have noticed the DVD case on the latest release they make a big deal about Chun Li's shower scene being totally uncut. I still have the 1994 VHS release and that is actually the uncut version. But it is nice that we once again have the classic Guile lines... "Shit...Bison had me tailed." "I'm going to rip your fucking heart out Bison." But the one stand out dialogue gaff is still there. With Ryu's... "Bison...what have you done...to Ken...RA-uh!" |

I thought Chun-Li was good personally. Though her hate for Bison should have come up more. Edmond was the comic relief, so he had to be there a lot to counteract all the violence, lol!
I also have the uncut vhs, but my vcr went to shit and don't plan on buying another, do you know of an uncut version on dvd?
And have you ever noticed Akuma in the background when they were in India?
Zangeif and Blanka drew the short end of the stick though. Blanka was shown perfectly and had only one damn scene!
Ken got a lot of screen time as well you know!
Then again, so did Gouken and no one is supposed to know who he is at that point, lol!
back on topic, I'm not entirely thrilled with the cast and am not sure how the film will play out, but like I said above, it can't be worse than the last one.

Yes Akuma selling his oranges he sticks out like a sore thumb really but people do miss him. He does more in the Alpha movie but the Alpha movie sucks. Not even Dan coming back from the dead after Vega kills him can save the movie. |

No Blade in his first appearance in the Spider-Man cartoon is white, Birdie is black...we could say African American but he's from England so that would be silly. |

I thought Bison and Balrog were the names they switched. To avoid admitting "M.Bison" the black boxer was a rip-off of Tyson.

the three of them were switched around. Vega is Bison Balrog is Vega and Bison is Balrog.

Actually you both are right  Even more useless SF trivia The Dragon Punch was originally the Fireball move What we know as the Dragon Punch was originall called the Hurricane Punch. They got switched so for a while the fireball was actually called 'Hurricane Punch' REALLY old original SF cabinets will even list the moves as said. |
