I personally thought this was a great film. It's full of clichés and taking down a mother ship with a computer virus is just dumb, but overall it's a great film.

I haven't seen the movie in years but taking down a mother ship with a computer virus? I thought the weird guy crashed a jet into the eye of the ship?

no, he took out the ship over the United States. The mothership was in space...by the moon if I remeber correctly.
