I thought I was the only one to like this show. It was a great and fun show. Then again, I liked it mostly because I could relate to George as a person and the situation with her family. Oh and I wish I could rip the soul out of people like Roxy did to that one guy that made him think she was an angel. Seeing Gravlings running around would be cool too!

I cant believe there was only ever 29 episodes that must mean I had seen nearly every single episode.
I've been waiting for the show to come back on for like two years but for some reason never thought to check if it had been cancelled but luckily an hour after finding out it was cancelled like two years ago I found out there is a movie being released in 6 weeks so it's all good. I also read that if the sales on the dvd are good there thinking about bringing the show back so here's hoping dvd pirates dont fuck us over.

I'll definitely buy it when it's for sale.
I dl stuff I have no intention of buying or I just want to check it out first.
I had no intention of buying the two Stargate:SG-1 films, but after watching them both a little while ago, damn they were good, and a prime example of hat made the show great. I didn't want to give those fucks money to teach that crap channel that they can't keep on screwing over the fans, but everyone involved in the shows and movies have made such a good job here, I haave to give in... those fucks.
I hope the DLM movie does the same thing.
By the way, no one ever said who their favorite characters were. Or what they liked about the show for that matter.

I havent even seen it in like two years so I barley remember any of them.
But the pommy drug addict reaper was my favorite. Dunno why I liked it but from the day I seen the first advertisment I loved it.

I know I'm necro-bumping this, but Dead Like Me was a great show. Who knew bbsy had taste? George was really relatable at the time I watched it also. And it would so be my luck to be killed by a toilet seat falling from space. I liked Rebecca Gayheart's character too.

No worries, seeing Mason play Zod on Smallville makes me laugh every time! This is the guy who played a character who hid drugs about his ass and was strip searched, LMAO!

I had the same issue when Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer joined Smallville as Brainic. It just wasn't right.

That really didn't bother me so much because as a human he was a nerd, then he was a serious villain and then a goofy sidekick. So seeing him in Smallville wasn't too hard to see, plus he looks different. I just can't get past Zod though, lol, maybe if they made him look slightly different.

True. I tend to repress any memories of geeky "William."

Hahaha, he plays General Zod? Seriously?
Dead Like Me was great. Have any of you seen the movie? It was pretty disappointing.

I haven't seen the movie. I haven't even gotten around to finishing the second season yet. I really need to get my Dead Like Me on.

I have the movie... bought it for 4 dollars.... I feel I was ripped off.
and yes, he plays Zod.... he does a good job, but it's freaking Mason! And he says "Krypton" funny, lol. Everyone says "ktypton" he says "Kryptin." I know it's just his accent, but it's funny to hear him say it like that right after someone pronounces it right.

Dead Like Me was one of those shows that the FOX8 promos made far too annoying to even attempt to watch

Yes but you liked T3 and you liked Dark City.... what's your point? Dark City started but crashed and burned before ending. Your high regard for T3 over T1 highlights your lack of credibility.

No it pretty much fizzled out at the start..... T3 may have been mediocre, but at least it had character development and the characters weren't entirely inept, like in T1.

Dead Like Me is easily one of my favorite shows. I'm still bummed that it got canceled too.
The movie was terrible, I did everything in my power to try and like it, but couldn't get myself to. It didn't help any that they recasted and rewrote Daisy's character as well. Spoilers below
The only redeeming quality it had was George, I loved that pretty much in the end she was chosen to be the post it note girl, or the head reaper.

Can't really see her as boss though.

Well, it means that or Rube was coming back! Can't really see her as boss though. I dunno I think that was the whole point of the movie, but it could be argued. The whole point of it, I thought, was it was some giant test to see who could resist temptation and still act responsible. It looked like Roxy was going to end up taking the lead, but gave in (which was totally out of character for her). George was the only one who didn't give in (kinda sorta, well she didn't fuck up as bad as the others).
