The one show I regretted not watching. I'm gonna just buy all the dvds cause apparantly I missed out on one really awesome show.

Great season so far, huh? I actually just watched episode 5...this is fuckin torture, though. My wife and I didn't get turned on to watching 24 until after season 6 had ended, so we watched everything on DVD...meaning no waiting a week between friggin episodes!!! It is, most definitely, one of the best shows on TV in quite some time. |

Yes, it's definately a better show to get into early on because it's so addicting. I think I got into it in the right at the beginning of season 4. Luckily my sister had the first 3 seasons on DVD's, but that was the worst time to get into it because I had all my college applications to worry about.
You're right though, when you are all caught up, you have to wait until the next week to see which direction the cliff-hanger from the previous week will take.

I always liked Alias, but this show from what I've seen is just as good. Draven and I have discussed this several times.

I always liked Alias, but this show from what I've seen is just as good. Draven and I have discussed this several times. Alias was another show that we didn't get into when it was on air, but watched entirely on DVD after it was over. Stuff like this is why I love my local library system...they have an extensive collection of DVDs, i can put them on hold and pick them up when available, rip them to a blank disc, and voila...I have the entire series run of Alias, 24, CSI, or countless other movies or shows to enjoy at my leisure. Piracy reeks of awesomeness! |
