If it is true that they are starting all the characters story from scratch now to get rid of all the inconsistant stories then i think MK will start to kick ass again.

The last game also alluded to Reptile taking the form of a ninja again which I hope happens because the other versions of him have been really shit.

I hated MK 3 and 4, Armageddon was a let down indeed.
MK Advanced and MK Special Forces are horrible though.

I thought three was the last good game, 2 is definitely the best though. They need to seriously revamp the combo system...oh and just like most game companies, they need to learn that tedious and difficulty don't mean the same thing. Difficulty is good, tedious is just flat out aggravating.
