Okay I was a bit disappointed that its basically a solo Spidey adventure but the folks at IGN seem to have pulled another Alone in the Dark.
IGN's rating 5.7
Use rating 8.6
That's a bit of a difference and once again people are ripping IGN a new A. I only checked out IGN cause there are not any reviews on gamefaqs yet but once again they have done nothing to inspire confidence in their reviewing ability.
Do the people at IGN seriously buy into all the hype behind a game and then have a tantrum when it doesn't live up to it? If that were true I'm sure Halo 2 & 3 would have taken a savage beating.

They did the same with some of the Smackdown games, they complained about stuff that they never complained about before or even praised at one point.

Do you remember when aspect ratios and anti-aliasing became the most important thing in video games EVER!!!!!! Don't forget you also have to keep the controls the same while you make them totally different! |

Again Raw 1 for the xbox got 9.1 in what is so obviously some kick backed pay off review. No Smackdown game has been anywhere near as terrible as Raw 1 was so it will be interesting what they find to complain about. |

LMAO! I especially love how everyone has a hard on for hctp...seriously, that was the weakest title in the series that I played which has been all except for the first one on PS2 and the new one of course.

I don't think I played Here Comes the Pain, I certianly don't own it anyway. I thought SvR 2008 was better than 2007 still not in the same league as 2006 but it was a step up 2007. The majority of people would disagree with me though. I have yet to encounter a wrestling game as shite as Raw 1 on this current generation of consoles and the previous generation of consoles. Okay the TNA game might come close but I have yet to really play it. |
