I have to say I'm actually starting to really look forward to this game. Every time they show a new clip or screen shot from the game i wanna play it more and more and at first i thought this idea was going to kill the MK franchise but i just think this may be the boot it has needed for all these years.

It has Joker shooting people in the head, what else could you want? For real though, it seems awesome, it also looks like they changed the combo system, I always hated it.

Yeah i think they have done a major shakedown on the old combo systems and fighting styles so it should be awesome.

As of this moment there is still no Johnny Cage and Reptile in this game and if they don't make the final cut then that will suck big time there two of my favorites.

yeah, hybrid reptile look like a zombie on crack and lizard reptile look horrible all around as well.

Well I finally picked up the game ;D I'm so up to speed with this thread Anyhoos it would have been nice if some of the add ons got released before Midway went bankrupt  Doesn't look as though Lobo and Kung Lao are going to get released now |

I do like the fact they managed to do some damage control on the story line of the MK universe. SO we can thank the Justice League for closing some plot holes! |

I like the game pretty good too.
Mortal Kombat FINALLY has a training mode where you can make the AI fight back *Something lots of other fighting games have had for years*
Plus they story doesn't completely suck, a rarity in fighting games.
My only problems is Dark Kahn being really cheap, lack of unlockable content, and the T rating.
The T rating doesn't ruin the game though, but this is MK and they took off the main reason why it has been so successful *Although the game is still really fun to play and it still sold well*

How hard would it have been to at least have the loading screens as selectable art work |
