Not perfect or all that great really but certainly a step in the right direction...and you get to play as Sonic....for the most part.

You didn't play as Sonic in any of those? Sonic Adventure 1, you HAD to use Tails, Knuckles, Amy and Big. Granted you could pick whose stages you wanted to do but as Sonic you only saw 1/5 of the game Sonic Adventure 2, You could no longer even choose which character you wanted to use as they foriced you to use which ever character was required for the storyline and Sonic was obviously only in the 'Good' story so basically you only got to play as Sonic 1/6 of the time Sonic 2006 you had Sonic's storyline as well as Silver and Shadow. So already down to 1/3 of the time you then every so often had to use another character during Sonic's levels. So yes Sonic Unleashed was nice enough to let you play as Sonic and not some lame supporting character. Miles was so much better when he couldn't speak!  |
