(since this game i've made seems so fun, i'll play with myself ... wait..  ) The Kinks' "A Well Respected Man" = CM Punk because if you listen to the lyrics of the song it documents the life of a straight edge superstar in his own right. it's a song about someone who lives a life of leaving a trail of breadcrumbs to greatness. here's a sample of the lyrics: "and he's oh so good, and he's oh so healthy, in his body and his mind... he's a well respected man and doing things so respectfully" ... it's about CM PUNK, c'mon. |

Breaking Benjamin's "Breath" = Chris Benoit what an eerie f-cking song for a man who took a f-cking eerie turn of events  ... when I first heard this song during the Benoit tragedy, sh-t, it was like THE DAY i found out about it, THE DAY it was confirmed (well at the time speculated) of what he had done... i heard the song "Breath" and thought, "this is Benoit's defining song..." yeah there's people out there who probably crack jokes and say Puddle Of Mudd's "Psycho" defines him, or some stupid song that will make fun of him... but "Breath" sums up Benoit's death... not only Benoit's death... but his family... "You take the breath right out of me, you made a hole where my heart should be... You gotta fight just to make it through, 'cause I will be the death of you..." it is a beautiful song about a man's psychosis. |

I never thought about it until I heard it, but I see where you are coming from with Breathe by Breaking Benjamin being Chris Benoit's defining song.
