No they didnt, all their songs have sucked, people only care about them because of the hot Amy Lee, its always the same when you put a hot girl as the singer, look at Paramore, there a pile of crap but people love them cos of that Williams girl.

Amy actually has an awesome voice though. Haley whatshername isn't even a good vocalist.

I've already settled this, if I liked Evancescence I would be transgendered.
By the way, with the whole "Metal. Yuck" thing, Evancesence is classified as "Alternative Metal" or "Gothic Metal" by tons of people. So that statement just makes you seem like a hypocrite.
Although I disagree with the term of them being any type of metal.

Those people are wrong though. Evanescence aren't Alt. Metal. They have metal influences, but they have influences from classical music too.
And no, you wouldn't be 100% transgendered if you like Ev. You're transgendered because you use 'pussy' as an insult. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but I think it's best if you just come to terms with it, TBH.

I have nothing against you liking Evanescence; as I said before though, don't waste your time posting about them on a thread that's clearly about metal.
If you like them, make a topic about them elsewhere, don't start arguments with people who like Metal, it's as silly and mindless as me calling them a "pussy" band.
You basically said it was dumb for me to call them a pussy band, but it's no less dumb than you wasting your time on a metal thread when you supposedly don't like it.
