Yea i went to one about 3 years ago, it was fucking incredible, I was knocked out for about 20 minutes after an elbow to the head but i had to go strait back in i didnt wanna miss a minute of it. U ever go to a slipknot gig? Not for the music its just to beat the crap out of each other in a supervised enviornment. Absolutely fucking awesome!

In my experience, Mosh Pits are pretty pathetic. Usually started by young guys who can't handle it when the bigger guys step in. And when the start bashing into some of the younger girls forcing them to leave, it's just not on.
At the last Ted Maul show I was at, the band actually had a go at the people who were doing the mosh pit. It was quite funny.

And no, I've never been to a Slipknot show, I've never been too crazy about them but they're okay.
Hearing what you just said I should go to one now.
And when I was at a Slayer show I got a black eye after I got punched in the face by accident lol. It was cool though because I "accidently" hit him in the mouth lol
Did you ever hear Tom Araya get angry at the Security guards because they were hitting the fans? It was awesome.
