I have a system with my other gamer hording pals. We pass around doubles to fill up everyone's collection. When you buy out people's collections you are always going to get doubles. It may sound expensive when you first start but it balances out in the end. Also means you don't have so many duplicate games hanging around the place.

Yeah I usually give away games I've doubled up on but none of my mates have even kept there Nes's so I just keep the doubles plus I'm a well known horder you never throws anything out so Throughout my room I have Playstation, PS2, xbox, xbox 360, NES and sega megadrive games sitting in boxes with ancient cheat magazines.

Is that a challenge? My Mega Drive collection currently stands at 194 all boxed with instructions ;D I'd take your NES stuff off your hands but I'd most likely have them already and I don't live anywhere near you.

I only have like 10 games on my mega drive.
I was always obsessed with Sonic 2 so I never brought any other games. Or should I say made my parents buy me any other games.

I have none of those consoles even.
I have like 70 or 80 NES games I'm not 100% sure. I've got 56 PS2 games and like 14 of those are wrestling related I have 42 Playstation games 26 xbox games and so far I've managed to get up to 24 360 games.
So you have demolished me in the games count but I have many many more games and consoles that I'll add to my collection.

Well half those consoles are either older or the same age as me so I'm at a disadvantage.

If it makes you feel any better, I own most of the MegaDrive games anyway. Isn't most of that stuff freeware now, anyway?

The SEGA manufactured games are not freeware, although I doubt they are as militant about ROMs like they were 5-10 years ago. 'most' more likely alot. I'm almost at 200 and I am nowhere near 'most'. ROMs are evil

ROMs are evil If you ask me, it's the only viable way to complete Road Rash without losing your mind. Amiga CD32's are better anyway.

It was cheap as hell, my parents paid £60 for it and it came with 20 games as a kickoff. And to say the games were 2 generations out of date is quite the oversight. Super League Manager went on to inspire Championship Manager, which went on to form Football Manager. John Barnes Football and Sensible soccer would inspire EA to create FIFA (I believe). You had games like Liberation II which I've never seen the likes of before. And back to Simon the Sorcerer, the sales for that indicate it certainly wasn't 2 generations too old. I could go on, but I'd probably have to go into the attic and reacquaint myself with some of the titles.

Are we thinking about the same Amiga CD 32...the blackish purplely thing with the U shaped controllers? $450 + with games ported over from a 1980s PCs

Cheapo over here, which is one of the reasons the company went under I think... And I had 2 controllers, the U shaped one and one shaped like a megadrive controller but with a few more buttons, more akin to a psx controller button wise.
