I'm fairly sure the parents nurse her back to health then she sees the guys that the parents allowed in and then the real shit goes down. I think she even attacks one of them. Again, not having seen the original I'm not sure of the bloodshed is one sided after the guys go to the house.

I've seen the original (and want to again) but it was brutal! I loved it!
Theirs even a penis biting off scene ... not for the squeamish! Not only do they rape ... but they stab the girl to the point where her intestines fall out ... and then they play with the intestines!

Well, they changed the remake, so we will have to see what else they changed. I have the Original on DVD, but will never watch it again.

saw it today... if it's anything like the original, you are a wimp. Seriously, the only problem I had was the rape scene, and that's because obviously, it's rape, lol.

I did laugh my ass off when the guy got his hand in that machine... the bit with the hammer had me rolling in hysterics!
