Despite Midway Games' bankruptcy filing last week, the company is still working on the second TNA video game. It is believed that Midway Games is trying to get the game done and out as soon as possible so it can be counted among the company's assets. www.rajah.com/base/node/15140 After there first game sucked so much why did they even try making a second?

I read this already, figured no one would care....
and it clearly says why in the article, lol!
Though I don't see how their logic makes sense. Took 3 years for a shitty game so they want to rush a new one?

Rush a new one so they can mark it as an asset even though it will make no money.

that was my point, lol! you were much sharper yesterday... you dull spoon you!
By the way, that argument between the three of you has to be on the 10 worse arguments ever list. Here's to hoping that shit is done with... though I'm sure Cringe and LG won't let it die.
Maybe this time you may be able to have all the characters be like their real life counterparts... instead of just having their finishers.

If they couldnt make the characters like there real life counterparts in the 3 year game then what hope is there for the rushed one?
And that argument was bad because LG just had nothing he crapped on about Rugby thinking no one knew what he was on about but unfortunatly for him we did and then we outsmarted him times.

I think you meant "several times" that was a reason it sucked too. In the rushed one they can modify the old models... though it would probably take another three years as they messed up badly the first time, lol. I mean seriously, in what way did they make it easier for themselves to make improvements? That's like rule number one in game making, lol! From what I understand they badically have to start up again from scratch, lol.

I cant see it ever hitting the shelves.
If there is ever another TNA game it will be one that is started from scratch which will probably take another 3 years and TNA will propbably go under before then.

;D Oh yeah gotta count a TNA sequel as part of your assets ;D
Man that is almost as funny as 3DO's bold press statement regarding Dreamcast ports of the 1001 shit Army Men games 'We don't want our premiere line on the Dreamcast.' The universal reply was "GOOD!"
It may not be as bad as you think as the game engine is already built but with that said it will probably just be a clone of the first game with very few if any of the problems fixed.
If anything stops Lepre from saying stupid shit it must be a good thing. Remember his whole hissy fit came from the comment that Ireland isn't so great at the rugby.

But Ireland is great at rugby, ill accept that theyre not as good as Australia or South Africa but they are still great.
Thats all wrestling games are, clones of the games before them, there is a lot they can improve about the impact games so they may get better but i think SD vs. Raw may be doomed. If we got svr 09 a few years ago we would have thought it was a fantastic game, the only reason it and 08 sucked is because nothing changed, and i dont really think theres anything left that they can change, its pretty damn close to the real thing...I suppose they could improve the hiac and RR matches. If TNA dosent pull out something good for the next game then that series is fucked.

This is the problem of annual updates much like the shit that is EA sports. Raw and Raw 2 for the Xbox are two totally different games. Raw 1 was so crap that I'm surprised they made a sequel, while Raw 2 was a a great game to the point its hard to believe its from the same franchise. TNA 2 is probably going to be one of those eBay gems, not because its good but because like 3 copies will actually be produced. Still why can't Midway's final swan song be another MK game

It wasn't bad but as you said it was just the first 3 games together. I didn't like MK3 that much. MK2 still stands as the best 2D MK game

Though I admit, he was one of the coolest sub-bosses ever even though he was just a Goro rip-off. I liked the combo system in 3 because you could at least do some of the combos, in the later ones you needed 10 fingers on each hand to do a majority of them. Seriously, making you press a direction and an attack button in the middle of a combo was the biggest bitch ever!

Well what about MK vs DC?
The combos are just flat out impossible. It is a 5 point achievment for every players combo challange you can complete and the best I can do is the first 2 combos and you have to do freaking 10 of the things.
And for the tenth one you would need to borrow both Goro's and Motaro's arms just to have half a chance at sucess.

MK3 is where they first started to get stupid with the storyline. Also they dropped Scorpion from the line up and introduced the ever so lame robo ninjas.
