The Tiger thinks the pigs ate her babies and wear their skin as a reminder...
Actually, I'm pretty sure it knows those aren't her kids, but her maternal instincts are still raging. Nature, however, will prevail and this mother of the year will become the monster mother of the year.

Sorry to kill the fantasy for you, but she's a tiger and they are little pigs; Reality has a way of kicking fantasy's ass in situations like this.

Sadly maternal instincts have nothing to do with logical, calm or rational thought. When her brain switches back from baby mode we are probably going to have a few sides of pork chops.

They have done this at the dubbo zoo before except with Goats instead of Pigs and the Tigers and Lions which they also do it with actually seem to grow a bond with them and suprisingly they dont kill them.
Although they do remove the other animals eventually so maybe they do it just before instinct is set to take over.

There is clearly an echo in here.... What I wonder though is, how long will it take for mommy to remember she's a tiger?
