Not exactly knew but appearently they are still making them. Its great they have all these scientific details these totally made up animals that may one day evolve on earth, I personally cannot wait for the CGI Stealth Squid.
Walking with Dinosaurs cause at least that was a pseudo documentary. But really what is the discovery channel trying to pull apart from showing off some CGI tech skills

some of those are cool, some are just meh. I won't deny some of it is well done, it just has no business being on the discovery channel. Its right on par with the history channel trying to pass off myths and legends as historical fact then using movie references...ie 300

Sometimes I'll accept it, other times I'm pretty sure it's just BS. never saw anything that referenced 300 though, lol! do you remeber what it was called?

Not the movie as such but rather the 'events' the movie is based on. No wonder there are actually people out there who believe Xena Warrior Princess was a historical figure

Oh, I think I saw that, lol! that one I actually believed, figured with man's love of war it probably did happen. Okay unless there were 301 Spartans the story cannot be true. As they go in great detail to describe the actions of individuals and their deeds in the battle. Details that could only get recounted by someone who (a) was on the first name basis with these people and (b) survived the battle to recount the story. All 300 died and its very dubious their killers would know their names nor record the actions of the 300 while they were trying to kill them. The story was written several hundred years after the fact, that in itself makes it highly suspect. It also has no other source of reference so it cannot be held as credible. Historians have ruined their reputations trying to prove Homer's The Odyssey was a true historic account. And excuse the pun it is pretty much in the same boat

In other news Romeo and Juliet kill themselves, Darth Vader is Luke's father and the Dish ran away with the spoon. I haven't seen the movie and I don't really intend to as I'm sure we are going to have far too many Lord of Rings type moments.

Everyone says it's good, I doubt it, but I'll try it, can't be worse than Superbad.... At least you didn't have to read Romeo and Juliet! Or Macbeth, or Caesar, or the Odyssey.... Have I ever mentioned my intense hate of William Shakespeare?

Have I ever mentioned my intense hate of William Shakespeare? Didn't I? There's a thought Anyone who argues about the importance of Billy Shakespeare is probably unaware with the cultural impact the creations of Stan Lee and Matt Groening have had on the world. As I say why do we analyze such things? The only person who can tell you the exact answer about Shakespeare's work is Shakespeare himself and he's dead.

Actually I find it interesting that the problems in GUY movies and Chick Flicks could be solved in 5 minutes if the gender of the charcter was reversed Example.... First Blood: Rambo just needed a hug and talk about his feelings Elizabeth: Queen just need to stop whining and just give the order to kill the people who were being a pain in the ass Problems solved! No need for 2 hours of movie ;D
