Let's make this maybe a Top 5...although I won't m ake a fuss if you mention more than that. And yeah, I know that I already posted Spider-Man as being the best, but that was really more of a piss off bbsy kind of move, being the FIRST post in the section and all. But, as all know, my favorite movie is The Crow...and it's a comic book movie...so....
#1 ~ The Crow...nuff said
#2 ~ Spider-Man (with Spider-Man 2 almost supplanting it...for this list though, I will make it my only Spider-entry)
#3 ~ Batman (1989)...directed by Tim Burton, starring Michael Keaton..nobody was quite sure if Keaton could pull off the role, but he did so masterfully...if you have only seen this movie on video, you have no idea the sheer level of bat-craziness that it drove the world to...the current hype over The Dark Knight was literally nothing compared to the excitement for this movie back in '89.
#4 ~ X-Men...great, but the series, IMO, still has never really delivered on it's full potential.
#5 ~ Superman The Movie...again an oldie, and years older than some posters on this board, but a classic, and a wonder for its time.
Now before anyone jumps all over me, I haven't yet seen Iron Man, or Dark Knight, and likely won't until either comes out on DVD. For the record, I actually liked Daredevil, and Ghost Rider as well..sure, I recognize the criticisms, but they are meant to be fun, not Oscar worthy. Batman Begins was great, but I wanted to have just one entry for each hero, and Keaton narrowly beat out Bale.

My list. 1. The Dark Knight 2. Iron Man- great movie, but can't hold a candle to the Dark Knight. 3. The Crow- all I remeber is that it had a bad ss character, but I remeber thinking it was a great film. 4. Spider-Man 2- far supior to it's sequal and a little better than part one.I believe every sequal should surpass the original and this one does just that. I actually started to like Doc Ock because of this. 5. X-Men 2- same exact reason as stated for SM2, lol. I would have added Batman Begins or the original, but didn't want more then one of the same movie. Begins would have been 3 and the original would have been 5. Probabably would have taken out the crow for something I remeber more clearly. by the way, you are still an asshole.

1. Batman - Keaton was so good as Batman that I didn't even think of Mr. Mom more than twice. Tim Burton did a great job with the film. 2. Ghost World - After reading it, it just doesn't seem like it would adapt to film even remotely good. It came out really well and the cast was perfect, especially Steve Buscemi. 3. X-Men 2 - The best of the three. Nightcrawler looked great. My only real complaint with the series is the lack of several mutants, mostly Gambit. 4. Hellboy - It could have used more Abe Sapien, but Ron Perlman as Hellboy made up for it. Plus, the second appears to have used Abe more, so it's easily enough forgiven. 5. Sin City - It was almost a perfect conversion.

Not to be snide, but you can tell who's seen Dark Knight and who hasn't.
