Well hopefully both sides of the fanboy war have gone away. Where do you think the movie will end up on the Top 250 once things have levelled off?

It should remain in the top ten but all the fanatics will fuck with it snd have it probably kicked off the board. With all the Terminator fanatics, Titanic fanatics and all the other fanatics that want to hate on the film because people like it more than the films they whack off to at night.

So am I. But atleast until after the Oscars alot of people wont be. Well if Ledger wins an Oscar maybe it will encourage other media whore spoilt brats to off themselves. Of course Ledger had talent so I guess the formula wouldn't work on the parasites that infest the E channel.

However, I can't blame people for having such thoughts after all, look at the Titanic, the crappiest movie of all time and it has received the most! Chicks and their emotions ruin everything, no offense to current company.

Don't forget the film school Nazis who see any criticism of The Godfather as an act of war. Especially the fact it's not even the best movie in series. That'll get them going.
Performance wise, that Oscar seems headed his way. It won't be because he died, the MPAA isn't that sentimental. Stanley Kubrick didn't even make their "In Memory" clip because they hated him. Stanley fucking Kubrick.

Titanic ugh.....
I have no hate towards the Dark Knight. And the exact opposite can be said bbsy with people praising the movie endlessly all because Ledger died.
Heath Ledger was one of those people like Steve Irwin and Princess Di who were bitched about constantly for their antics of ego and stupidity but the second they died (of their own chronic stupidty) they are somehow media darlings on par with Jesus.
Can anyone name one movie that has universal appeal to everyone? So obviously yes the are some faults with the Godfather. I've seen it twice, I have no intention of seeing it again.

Alas like all annual awards, something has to win in. So you don't have to be good, you just have to be less crap than the rest of the stuff that year.

It shouldn't be in the top 250, but neither should a lot of the movies that are in there.

It was on there? That's just sad.... and I like the film!
I mean shit, if we are just throwing films on the list, I say we add Monster Squad and Clue to it.

That's why I hate people like Gavin, every week a new movie comes out and every week their blowing their loads to it. It's freaking pathetic.
Personally, I think TDK was good enough to be on the list, but I don't think that of every movie I see and like a lot. While on the topic of the list, it kind of irks me because I like the film a lot... and the novel, but Silence of the Lambs doesn't belong on the list either.
