From what I've heard alot of Netflix DVD's don't work in some players and thery're thinking of jacking the price also.
Call me old fashion but why not just go to a video store and rent a movie *shrugs*

I aint paying $ 20.00 or more per month for the local video store. - I love being able to rent one at a time and have it delivered to my mailbox within 48 hours of me sending off my latest rental. - So Price and convenience. and I have rented 6 or 7 movies in three weeks , and have ZERO problems with the dvds playing. Maybe the people who said they had troubles had crappy dvd players.

Oh and if the prices ever changed.... They still have 3 -or- 4 Pricing options. You cant beat renting eight movies or ten movies a month for under ten bucks.....and the list of movies you can rent is extremely large. I think it is 100,000 movies.

I want to clarify, I am not trying to get anyone to join , just wanted to share my experience. I know it won't work for everyone.

Considering how cheap DVDs are here I don't see much point in renting

I did when I was in college and burning movies. I'd switch out 8 DVD's every 3 days. In a month I would get 80 movies and i would own them all since their burned.
Its how i built my DVD collection.

Its how i built my DVD collection. i built my collection similarly, except i was getting them free from the library....i'm pretty close to 1000 titles now.
