Like perhaps maybe her story is BS You can ONLY claim refugee status in your first port of call, you cannot pick and choose what country you want to try. So unless she was fleeing persecution in the US she cannot make a claim in Canada. |

How do any of you know her stories bullshit. Are you her? Are you from the middle east, have you met her. This article should be taken seriously. Cause that fucked up shit actually happens in the middle east on a day to day basis, Middle Easterners do not like their women at all the treat them horribly they make them dress full body in warm clothes when it's blistering hot out there. Unfaithful wives are beaten and stoned to death. And even if she was lying and she was just trying to stay can you honestly fucking blame her? I'd rather live in Antartica than any of those backdesert religious extremist douchebags in the middle east. If you were being forced out of a country whether it be US Canada, Australia or the Uk wouldn't you do anything that you could possibly do to stay in one of those four countries as opposed to going to a shittier more chaotic country.
