they brought this back?
why?
was it given a decent storyline this time around?
The first one had 1/4 the people and was 10x better.... that's sad.

The first one was much better at the character balancing, if nothing else they just didn't have ubercheese Cable in the line up But MvsC2 was fun just for the scale of the roster, granted you could get away with a controller with one big red button that was labelled "MASH"

If they had the three person teams in part one it would have pretty much been the same game but with fewer characters. edit: and I liked cable, thank you very much!

Cable, War Machine and BB Hood were the ultimate team....they were still cheese The storyline in MvsC2 was woeful indeed but I think by that stage Capcom really just didn't care. At least it wasn't quite as messed up as the MK universe got. Although I have to wonder why Shuma Gorath kept making the cut. Of Marvel must have characters I don't think Shuma would make too many top 100 lists

I used Cable, War Machine and Ryu... mainly because they were perfect for beating Abyss.
Use Cable on the suit, use the super combo on the goo and either beat or try to out last the lava monster.
and yeah I never used shuma... and from what I read about him, they made him incredibly weak in comparison to the comics.
the thing that annoyed me the most is that they watered down Ryu... ;D

Prior to Shuma appearing in the Capcom games I had no idea who he was, a quick background check and I have to wonder why they thought an obscure Dr Strange villain was the best choice. My fav team was Dan, Servebot and Blackheart. Blackheart was only there because the demons he launched sounded so much like the charging nerds from the Simpsons

Yeah if you ever wanted to piss someone off you just made a team of 3 Servebots Which raises another question why would they include 2 characters from MegaMan Legends and only one from Captain Commando?

Apparently MvC2 is the end all of fighting games for some people. I prefer SvC and SvC Chaos.

MvC2 was just a fanfest game that anyone could play the SNK vs Cap games were a little unrewarding due to insane moves doing next to no damage. The excuse being was so that fights were longer and seemed more epic but honestly if a fireball to the face barely phases you followed up by a light saber in your guts just causing you to hunch over for a few frames....then how would a punch hurt?
