Due to me taking time off for school and w/e I have fallen slightly behind on my duties as a mod in this section, however, I am catching up and will be ahead again, hopefully by tomorrow. Just to answer some major questions anyone may have, If it came out in February of this year to last month it is in the calender and in one of the sections. I usually try to have the current month and done as much of the following month that I have information on done as soon as possible. I will inform everyone of my progress in this thread.... oh and if dates change on me for releases after I add them to the calender, it isn't my fault! However, I will have the updated info in the thread. It would also be greatly appreciated if you can inform me of what movies you want to see and when they come out, if possible, so I know to make sure I add it. I also tend to add everything just in case someone may want to catch something, that I'm not sure if people would like so some feed back (good or bad) in this thread or in the threads for that movie would be nice....  and I'll try not to slack off again, as Venom once said, "Our bad! ;D" |

Also as a way to get karma for people, I was thinking that predicting which films will be nominated for awards or win them would be cool as well. I'll think up a blueprint for that if anyone is interested. Though I may have to run it by Christine first, which means I hope she sees this because I more than likely will forget to ask her. |

There was an award show on the other day actually, but I think it was just for sitcoms, don't think any movies were included.

I have finished all the dvd releases for June and the first week for the theater releases. I will say it here as well, Transformers has been moved up to the Wednesday of the week instead of on Friday.
As far as the game goes, I would like feed back on what award shows you would like it to focus on, the point system won't be changed, in other words, the more award shows the more chances you have to get points. Anyone that wants to be kind and remind us when award shows will be on can get some points as well.
I want everyone to be able to participate as much or as little as they want so at the minimum if you just pick films that get nominated for an award you get 2 points. You can choose up to 5 movies if you don't want to pick the exact award or from what show (Emmy, Oscar, w/e). You don't get more points if it's nominated more than one time.
If you pick the award or the show you get an additional 2 points (depending on how many shows you want to do I might have different bonus amounts if you pick both correctly.)
So everyone also has an opportunity to share their opinion they can also choose which films they think most people would agree sucks or are genuinely good. These picks are also worth two points and you can choose up to 5 total.
Their are a ton of points up for grabs here and everyone can have a say how they want this to go, I hope everyone likes the set up and I am open to suggestion if anyone wants anything to be altered or if they have any cool ideas of their own.

depends on the show you want to do. The deadline is when the show starts.
I'll post them when I know what shows people want to include.
As far as what movies that will suck or will be good, that is open until the release of said film.

It is a bit odd sometimes we are a month or two behind and sometimes we are ahead as was the case with the Dark Knight I thought it would come out in the US first but we had it nearly a full 2 weeks earlier. |
