I think the a large portion of us will agree that their glory days are long since past but how many more seasons do you think they will last?

No more than 10 years. Maybe up to 15.
I don't think they will be going away for quite some time.

It killed the rugrats, but aging the Simpsons could do some good, they pretty much did everything else. make the kids teens at least.

I see them lasting until 2013. Fox will eventually get tired of them, and there killing to many shows to make room for Seth MacFarlene.
