As somebody who has never been a Manny fan, I'm somewhat happy, but as a llifelong baseball fan, I'm sad. Baseball is so under the microscope now, and shit keeps happening. It's sad. People wonder why the NFL has pretty much overtaken the MLB.
If I ever found out Albert Pujols tested positive, I would lose faith in baseball.

I'm not watching baseball until the NBA playoffs are over. I looked at the newspaper and was shocked that over 30 games have been played already. That's how much love I have lost for Major League Baseball.

Agreed... Baseball is just dying for me. The love of the game is gone, it's all the love of the Yankees or Red Sox now. F-ck it.

Many big name athletes have been suspended for steroid use. The latest that comes to mind is Shawn Merriman. What about Rodney Harrison? These guys get 4 games and don't nearly catch as much shit as ballplayers do in baseball. Baseball is certainly under the microscope but football seems to be skipping through life without a single worry. Albert Pujols cannot test positive for steroids/or steroid enhancing substances .... he is a machine.

I am starting to think that players are afraid to take anything that isnt headache medicine. You think they could pay a lawyer $100,000 just to keep track of what is ok and not ok to take.
