hey just because they are disgustingly overpaid for three months of work doesn't mean the sport sucks.... it can get pretty damn violent at times.... much better reason to watch it for that.

The season lasts 8 months. There's also pre-season, summer internationl games, etc.
I'm not saying they don't get it easy, because as much as it takes to play an entire professional football match, £100,000 a week would make it all okay. Still though, they don't get much of the calender off in general.
