There is a big screen Green Lantern movie in the works, due I believe for 2011....no lead actor has been cast as of yet.
However, one fan seems to want Nathan Fillion to get the part (which would be fine by me)...and he has even made a trailer himself. Pretty awesome, I think.

It has been at this point forever. I've given up hope of it ever being made. There was even this awful rumor about them doing it with Kyle Rayner and Jack Black playing the part. I've never been happier about something not happening.
I have nothing against Fillion, in fact he'd be better than tons of other suggestions I've seen. However, I think David Boreanaz would be perfect as Hal Jordan, he's even done voice-over for an animated version already.

I've heard rumors that Bradley Cooper (best known as Sack/Zack Lodge in Wedding Crashers) is a leading candidate for Hal Jordan....
I think that would be a great idea, he's a really underrated actor.
