Okay Tanswell care to explain that little Rugby rule? It must be a serious breach as it made headline news or is this just a chronic over reaction to that women and her consenting Rugby gang bang only to cry rape a week after the fact.

and what does that have to do with someone being a slut? " There was a PR crisis caused by a woman's allegations that she was raped but six rugby players. Rather she was just a star struck groupie who even bragged about it to her co workers only to suddenly decide a week later that she was raped.

It must be a serious breach as it made headline news or is this just a chronic over reaction to that women and her consenting Rugby gang bang only to cry rape a week after the fact. This whole incident is pretty harsh on Joel Clinton he is being made the scape goat because of the high profile players that have been involved in incidents where never punished. Hunt, Thaiday and Boyd allegedly sexually assaulted a girl in public toilets during the final series last year and where not dropped from the side they where given $10 000 fines if I remember correctly. A few days later Darren Lockyer tackled a bar keeper whilst drunk and was not punished at all the broncos then claimed that they where taking a zero policy stance on alchol fuelled incidents a few weeks after this came into place star half back Peter Wallace got into a drunken fight and once again was in no way at all punished but the Broncos claimed the next player involved in an incident like this would have there contract torn up. 3 weeks ago the next incidents took place after a night on the town drinking Nick Kenny was caught pissing on a wall down a back alley and Steve Micheals kicked a cars tire hardly what you would call sackable offences and no punishment was given to him so once again the broncos didnt stand behind there word. and then as you probably heard a few weeks ago a young girl came out and claimed she was gang raped by up to 11 Cronulla players in New Zealand in 2002 after that the Broncos players came out and themselves made an agreement that no player would take woman back to there hotels to avoid an incident like this happening and well then Joel Clinton decided to take a young girl that he met on the internet a few months ago back to the team hotel and when the Broncos found out they finally decided to take a hard line stance mainly because Clinton isnt a high profile player. They stood him down last week and was set to have his contract torn up at a board meeting today but they decided to very harshly fine him $50 000 instead. Better then being sacked but very harsh indeed and they have made him nothing more then a scapegoat.

It is BS paranoia Civil Liberties groups should be rallying behind this guy, outside of the workplace no private enterprise has the right to dictate regulations as to where an employee has consensual sex.

It really does piss me off when a woman falsely cries rape. All this accomplishes is dragging someone's name through the mud and making less likely actual rape victims will come forward.

They are all falsley crying rape now because channel 7 and a current affairs are giving them massive paydays to drag these guys through the mud. as you mentioned before the girl that had a gang bang with the Cronulla players 7 YEARS AGO came out 3 weeks ago and claimed she was raped by all the players channel 7 and nine through money at her to get the story out and then a week after Mathew Johns career was ended due to the allegations it comes out how she gloated to all her workmates and friends about having the gang bang.

There are several reasons why they chose to not come forward, but I never thought about this one, good point.
It's funny how sluts like this chick (uh the groupie not the gf) are what holding women back though. Then again, that goes for most groups in the work force as well.

Looking at this now from the opposite side of things an organization that they may have no contact with outside of their relationship with their partner has now made it illegal for ANY woman (I will assume that this rule does not apply if the player and the woman in question are married ) to have sex with her bf if he is a rugby player outside their private residence.

Fearing villification by the media or fans/supporters is a very big reason why a woman may not want to come forward. I don't think society has quite grapsed the concept that hey just maybe women like sex too

I dont think the nrl has any issues with players rooting there wives/Girlfriends it's just they dont want it to take place whilst the players are away and staying in hotels that the nrl is footing the bill of.

Like I said its an over reaction and they are trying to dictate sexual habits outside their private residence ie not at their home. This is a civil liberties thing and if he appealled this in a court of law there is no way it could be upheld
