I dont think much effort was out into the movies they where just made so they could give a half decent send off to the show in the final movie. But it doesnt matter how crap the movies are now as they have revived the franchise so all is right in the world once again.

And as for it being cancelled it just shows how stupid Fox is they cancelled both Futurama and Family Guy and now in 2010 both shows will be back in full swing and as well as them another great show they cancelled in Arrested Development will be releasing a movie also due to great dvd sales.
