* Jeremy Garelick, who did the uncredited rewrite of ‘The Hangover', has been brought on board to help spice up and direct the big screen take on ‘Baywatch’. His take on the TV series will focus on the experiences of two trainee lifeguards, though the movie will probably have more humorous lines then the show, the buff bodies will be just as abundant.
* 'T.J. Hooker', William Shatner’s well known TV series about a vertean cop partnered with a rookie, is on it’s way to the big screen. After the recent release of ‘Star Trek’ without his presence, the question remaining is will Shatner be a part of this remake?
* The 'Jennifer's Body' trailer hit the internet this week and is playing in the coming attractions before ‘Bruno’ (which opens Friday July 10th). The film is being compared to the 1988 ‘Heathers’ movie, a dark comedy staring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater. The similarities go as far as high school students killing their classmates to prove a point—but in humorous manner. The movie should be a good successor to ‘Heathers’ especially with Megan Fox as the lead.
news.premiere.com/blog/2009/07/71009-short-take-revenge-of-the-remakes.htmlI know I'm a guy and am supposed to like Baywatch, but that was the most god awful show ever! What's the point of a movie? Now a days you can see hotter chicks on tv commercials wearing just as much clothes and saying a hell of a lot less as to not annoy you with crappy acting. Oh and by the way Heidi was way hotter than w/e Anderson's character's name was.

Well Baywatch was meant to be risque back in the day. Sort of feel over here when dealing with shows at the time like Fast Forward would just have random naked people for the sake of a joke, nothing says comedy like a pair of bare butts talking on the telephone.
