In popular music that is...forget about opera/musical theatre/whatever, because then it'd get complicated.

I'd say Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys and Matt Bellamy.

Christina Aguilera and Beyonce might be up there too, but I don't like them much, and Beyonce's not as good as people make her out to be.

Jesse Lacey doesn't have a massive vocal range like Bellamy does but I think his voice is cool and he's my personal favourite lyricist of all time.
