Well I've just seen the first episode and dare I say it was less than stellar.
I'm sure it will get the simpsons movie defence and people will say "Its on par with the current episodes of family guy"
Just seems a bit odd if the character was supposedly good enough for to get a spin off why did they have to re-write his personality just to liven up the show.

I still don't understand why out of all of their characters Cleveland got the spin-off. It clearly should have been Mayor West. He deserves a chance to find out who has been stealing the water out of his plants.

I'm about to watch the first episode right now. Hopefully I'm not disappointed, because I like Cleveland.

Did you know that it only takes the time to make a press release to make a fully animated TV show. ;D Thus I can still hold onto that faint glimmer of hope that Moon Knights 2006 TV show is still in the works as people were supposedly still working on scripts in 2008 despite Marvel taking away the development rights cause Moon Knight was appearently too good for the pissy little Canadian studio

Still in an era were cartoons come into existence to moment they are announced then really MK should have had his pilot ep by now. Still bitter about that eh? Next time he shouldn't make breakfast in bed for another guy ;D

In fact, with two years, they should have made a good first episode.

I will give it another couple of episodes before I pass final judgement on the show. Heck I endured 3 eps of Jimmy Fallon's attempt at replacing Conan.

I watched the episode. It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad either. I hate Cleveland Jr. He has a boring personality. Cleveland's friends are funny, but they don't have as much chemistry as Peter's group on Family Guy. And the episode was lacking a little bit, but not many animated sitcoms have set-ups like this. I'll watch a few more episodes before I decide if I like it.

They turned Cleveland jr into Chris except with even less personality or depth.

The Cleveland Show? This show sounds interesting. Unlike Dumb Ol' Spongebob SquarePants with Stupid Ol' Sandy.
