Final Card for Saturday's Big Strikeforce Show

- The August 15th Strikeforce card has had its share of problems, including Heavyweight Champion Alistair Overeem and Lightweight Champion Josh Thompson having to be pulled from the card from injuries. Currently there is doubt that the Welterweight Title bout will happen due to Nick Diaz missing his scheduled drug test on Friday. And now, five days before the show, the company has confirmed their preliminary card for the event.

Here is the updated card for Strikeforce: Carano vs. Cyborg, which takes place Aug. 15th at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif. and airs live on Showtime:

SHOWTIME CARD:
* To Crown The First Strikeforce Women's Championship: Gina Carano vs. Cris Cyborg
* Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Championship: Renato "Babalu" Sobral (c) vs. Gegard Mousasi
* Strikeforce Lightweight INTERIM Championship: Gilbert Melendez (c) vs. Mitsuhiro Ishida
* To Crown The First Strikeforce Welterweight Championship: Nick Diaz vs. Jay Hieron

PRELIM CARD:
* Mike Kyle vs. Fabricio Werdum
* Mike Cook vs. Scott Lighty

If Diaz does make the fight he's got his hands full with Hieron. Seen him fight in IFL and damn he's good. Really should be in WEC or UFC ask me cause he's to good to still be doing these small shows.

Only thing I hate that Tito went back to UFC is that Strikeforce was trying to get him and Babalu for a Light Heavyweight fight wich I would've love to seen
