I don't like cricket or know anything about it, but it's newsworthy I suppose? So i'll do the story ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/cricket/england/8217035.stmEngland regained the Ashes with a momentous 197-run win in the deciding Test to seal a 2-1 series triumph. After losing 5-0 in Australia in 2007, victory in The Oval sun was reminiscent of England's famous 2005 Ashes win. Australia resumed on 80-0 needing a further 466 for a world record win but twice lost two wickets in two overs. Andrew Flintoff, in his final Test, brilliantly ran out Ricky Ponting (66) and Mike Hussey was last out at 1749 BST on day four after a defiant 121. Some said this series did not match the tension of 2005 but the continual fluctuations made it highly absorbing.

Fuck cricket. It's about as thrilling as the Sunday afternoon Eastenders omnibus.
But this does seem to follow a pleasing trend of English sport taking over the World recently. Don't believe me? Let me provide you with a bit of evidence:
Ashes winners - England 2003 Rugby world cup winners + 2007 runners up - England Next Olympic games - England Best football leagues in the World - England Most teams in the latter stages of the Champions League last season - England Hell, even the English national football team is starting to look good. 100% victory in our World Cup qualifying group so far, and a 2-2 draw away to a decent Netherlands side.
You can talk about Usain Bolt and Michael Phelps, but nobody gives a shit about running and swimming. The sports that real matter are slowly being taken over by England. WE WILL RULE THE FUCKING WORLD.

WE WILL RULE THE FUCKING WORLD. Out of everything you mentioned England is only the current winner of the ashes and that is hardly a sport that really matters. Heck it's one of our natinal sports and I hate it. Winning the world cup in Rugby in 2003 isnt really taking over rugby either and then lets bring up last years Rugby League world cup where Fiji finished higher then you and there is no denying your soccer achievments but even in that you arent the best country around and your leagues are full of forigners so no wonder there the best.

Then next Olympics are in Vancouver Well he did state England was winning all the major sporting codes then made a list of sports that England had won a whole one of recently and that one was a Series between England and Australia only and currently South Africa is the top ranked country in Cricket so England hasnt even taken over cricket. so he kind of showed there he is as bout as sharp as LG.
