By PETE IORIZZO, Staff writer Last updated: 6:00 p.m., Friday, September 4, 2009 Former Siena guard Tay Fisher has been signed by the Harlem Globetrotters. The 5-foot-9 Fisher, an affable and charismatic 3-point shooting specialist for the Saints, seems a perfect fit for the iconic Globetrotters. Founded in the 1920s, the Globetrotters play exhibition games around the world, blending comedy skits with their razzle-dazzle style. Fisher played at Siena from 2004-08. As a senior, he helped the Saints reach the NCAA Tournament, then went 6-for-6 from 3-point range in a first-round victory over Vanderbilt. The Kingston native had been living in his hometown and running basketball camps around the region. www.timesunion.com/AspStories/story.asp?storyID=838486interesting, I didn't even think they still were around, guess so!
