With the PS2 finally having its final final year it would seem shelf space for every console as been trimmed back at my local video store
Wii - down to half a shelf + 1 1/2 cabinets of accessories 360 - down to half a shelf +1 cabinet of accessories DS - down to half a shelf + 1/2 a cabinet of accessories PSP - non existent PS3 - down to 1/4 shelf PS2 - down to 1/4 shelf
Seems a bit odd considering we are entering the x-mas rush.

Wii and DS share a section at my local GAME.
360 has the biggest section(s) just inside the door and on the left side of the shop
PSP and PS2 share a section and there are alot more PSP games.
PS3 fairly small section but I think it'll get bigger soon with the PS2 going.
Pre-owned games are in the middle of the shop.
Gamecube has one shelf and a pre-owned shelf.
PS1 has a basket.

wii and DS gave the biggest section of all down here. Then 360 has the most space all on it's own and the PS2 and PSP sections are both bigger then the PS3 section.
Accesories are also sold for all consoles except the PS3.

The store I was talking about was not a dedicated video game store but they did have a decent range for a while. I just commented on it as its the cloest one to where I live.
