The sub-zero heroes from the worldwide blockbusters “Ice Age” and “Ice Age: The Meldown” are back, on an incredible adventure...for the ages. Scrat is still trying to nab the ever-elusive nut (while, maybe, finding true love); Manny and Ellie await the birth of their mini-mammoth, Sid the sloth gets into trouble when he creates his own makeshift family by hijacking some dinosaur eggs; and Diego the saber-toothed tiger wonders if he’s growing too “soft” hanging with his pals. On a mission to rescue the hapless Sid, the gang ventures into a mysterious underground world, where they have some close encounters with dinosaurs, battle flora and fauna run amuck – and meet a relentless, one-eyed, dino-hunting weasel named Buck.

Hope it's better than part 2.... I think the general reaction was Part 1 was too dark for little kids so they lightened the mood in number 2 with more helpings of cheese.

Was it? I'd say a little too adult themed, but not really dark. This never would have happened in the 80's!
and part 2 was way too cheesy!

I didn't think there was anything wrong with it but I wasn't a little kid when I saw it. They did the same thing to the Lion King and Mulan...can't have anything that might upset anyone

Yeah it's funny how it was ok when they were kids, but now it's bad for theirs. Being a bad parent is no excuse to blame outside sources.

Its a brilliant idea... remove all elements that made the original memorable.
Heck how many people would have remembered the 86 Transformers movie if they Optimus hadn't been killed

I want to see this. So does JT, and Dennis. JT has three McDonalds toys from it already. The Sid toy is cute, but obnoxious, so fitting!
