SYNOPSIS
The sub-zero heroes from the worldwide blockbusters “Ice Age” and “Ice Age: The Meldown” are back, on an incredible adventure...for the ages. Scrat is still trying to nab the ever-elusive nut (while, maybe, finding true love); Manny and Ellie await the birth of their mini-mammoth, Sid the sloth gets into trouble when he creates his own makeshift family by hijacking some dinosaur eggs; and Diego the saber-toothed tiger wonders if he’s growing too “soft” hanging with his pals. On a mission to rescue the hapless Sid, the gang ventures into a mysterious underground world, where they have some close encounters with dinosaurs, battle flora and fauna run amuck – and meet a relentless, one-eyed, dino-hunting weasel named Buck.

Hope it's better than part 2.... I think the general reaction was Part 1 was too dark for little kids so they lightened the mood in number 2 with more helpings of cheese. |

Was it? I'd say a little too adult themed, but not really dark. This never would have happened in the 80's!

I didn't think there was anything wrong with it but I wasn't a little kid when I saw it. They did the same thing to the Lion King and Mulan...can't have anything that might upset anyone |

Yeah it's funny how it was ok when they were kids, but now it's bad for theirs. Being a bad parent is no excuse to blame outside sources.

Its a brilliant idea... remove all elements that made the original memorable.
Heck how many people would have remembered the 86 Transformers movie if they Optimus hadn't been killed
