It will also promote people to be nicer to one another ;D Capital Punishment has been around for how many centuries?  I never understood how capital punishment puts fear in cold-blooded killers. When you live that kind of life, chances are that you have come to the reality that you will meet your maker sooner rather than later already. And I mean what are the options for the "punishment"? Quick, painless deaths? Lethal injection has to be the best way to go. First of all, they go through the trouble to sterilize the site where the needle goes in, God forbid this piece of shit that's going to die anyways get's an infection. Second, the procedure is broken down into three steps, first two are pain killers more or less to give the convict as much comfort as possible. The third is a toxin that shuts down the nervous system and the heart almost instantaneously. What a way to go for a person that put so many people through grief. It's like "Mr. Killer, are you comfortable enough? Would you like a pillow and blanket? How about a nice warm glass of milk?" |
