If cars were built to last the automotive industry would go broke. Mass produced cars need to be shit but they shouldn't fall apart so dang quick! Though, my good car before this one was a rubbermaid car...someone backed into me the bumper went in and when they backed back up, it popped out....I remember that made me happy lol that was a 1998 plymouth breeze (I drive an 08 chevy cobolt now) and let me tell you, I am so happy I didn't spend the extra money on the toyota like I wanted to!

Like all steel based massed produced high cost consumer goods the desired turnover replacement is 4-7 years.
