Dragon Age is the bastard love child of Mass Effect and Silver with all the gloss that made those two games great but with two oversized helpings of what also made those games crap then there is the annoying glitches that can't be assed fixing.
People raved about how great this game was yeah and on surface its pretty decent but the best I would recommend is playing through say 50-60% of the game then put it down and never worry about it again.
