I loved ancient history, specifically ancient Greece. I've always found Greek mythology fascinating.

The Dark Ages. More recently, the 90’s were pretty cool.

Just imagined bbsy having a showdown and lol'd. Ancient Greece was cool. I should have been a Pharaoh in Egypt. And I totally miss the 90's.

I'm totally with you on the mythology front. Love it. Right now I'm more interested in Norse than Greek.

I'm going to have to choose any time post-the Civil Rights and Women's Rights Movement, thank you very much.
Okay, all joking aside...
Editing: to add that I agree with Burke. The 90s seem like the last genuinely awesome decade. The incredibly dated fashion, Clinton became president, we had the Attitude Era, we were blessed with amazing movies (hello, Clueless), MTV & Nickelodeon were amazing, it was an awesome period for music (hip hop/pop/grunge, you name it), I was born, etc.
Seriously though, I had the best times of my childhood in the 90s. Sure, there are plenty of eras that appeal to me in the history books, but I'm much more inclined to comment on my own actual experiences. That being said can we please have a "90s Appreciation Thread?"

I totally forgot about the French Revolution. It was one of the few things I was actually interested in in history class.

Like it was only just about one of the most momentous occasions of the decade. ;D That being said can we please have a "90s Appreciation Thread?" Yes! This has to be done, lol. Someone make it happen.....or I will.

It's not that dated. Alot of the preppy stuff could pass off as recent material.

Well, the same thing can be said for many other staples in fashion. I obviously didn't mean all of it. But overall yeah, I disagree. Plenty of it is pretty dated and at risk of violating a fashion faux-pas. I don't see many people walking around with these: But that may just be me. Last year, a classmate of mine dared to don overalls at school one day and was pretty much tormented for it. Poor girl. Like I said, some of the fashion can from the 90s can be pulled off. Sure, but a lot of is dated and belongs in the vault. Then again, that might just be your own personal preference. I'm just speaking in general trend terms.

I love Old West time period and I've sworn one day I'm gonna visit Tombstone,Dodge City and Deadwood
Also stuff from the American Revolutionary War and Civil War
Just for note 90's can't hold a candle to the 80's

I agree with Chris, there's too many! But I really enjoyed Colonial American history, Revolutionary America, American Civil War and US History in General.
