I guess if I were going to roll with any of them it would be the Apache. Spartan is sexy though.

Considering the only reference to the 300 was a story written about a century or so after the fact. The again seeing as how some people take Homer's Odyssey as historical truth then to each their own.
Just take a bunch of Gurkhas and the SAS of any non equipment heavy military and you wouldn't need to worry about a bunch of midgets from 2000 years ago.

I don't know. I didn't get past the lack of Janissaries and Highlanders. Then there's the mixing of societies with classes. For instance, apparently an Aztec child is equal to a Samurai. Who knew?

I don't think they really thought it through too much. There are the Knights Templar. Not that the whole two men on one horse isn't terribly badass.
It really just looks like the creator was thinking of what he/she liked to pretend to be as a kid and made the list from that.

Being destroyed by homophobia isn't exactly badass. And where are the autobots? Kicking ass for like 9 million years! Their story is nearly as credible as the 300 ;D |
