Road To WM looks to have finally improved this year. Don’t really care about the match editor thing. WWE Universe mode looks like a cool new feature. I’m glad story designer is still in. I hope they’ve made it a little more accessible though, last time it was just too complicated and time consuming. Online Rumble will be awesome! |

X box live marketplace already has two DLC packages for SD vs RAW 2011. Fan Axxces and online axxces. Must be a stuff up the game doesn't come out for the best part of a month yet.

One of them says you can redeem it for free from the barcode upon release so looks like there trying to catch dumb shits out before it is released and the second one is just a fancy online leader board and apparently half price on all future DLC packs. |

Apparently there is going to be a heap of DLC for this game so that fan axess pack could be worth it's money. But it unlocks all the unlockables so I'll finish the game and unlock everything before I even consider buying it.
First DLC pack has already been announced for just after the games release and it includes British Bulldog, Lex Luger, Wade Barrett, David Otunga, Justin Gabriel, Layla alternate attires for Shawn micheals and Shad and the NXT arena.
and a second pack is scheduled for January that at the moment contains alternate cloths for John Cena, Undertaker and CM Punk along with the WCW arena.
and on top of those there is already the other download pack that contains Chris Masters, Plus in Australia we get the Hitman edition of 2011 and get a free Bret Hart download.

Anyone get it yet? I would post the review from IGN, but it's the same shit every year: "The game is fun, but overall it's the same game from last year" No fucking shit, it's not like it's a franchise you know. . . oh wait, the word franchise is usually in the first paragraph of the review. . .  |

Gotta say I'm pretty impressed with wwe universe mode.
In my first match I chose Mizz and thought I'll fight someone easy in my first match so I took on Santino. Instead of seeing the wrestlers entrances a cut seen came up of Santino in ring and I came through the crowd and hammered him. Then when the match actually started Santino was stuffed and I had a special built up.
The cut scenes are all just fantastic.

I haven't done any of the RTW's yet. I hope they're better than last years.
All the new stuff you can do with weapons is pretty cool.
WWE Universe mode was cool at first but got kind of annoying. I switched it off already.
Overall though, definitely an improvement on last years.

Yeah universe does get annoying pretty quick. I didnt wanna use the unlock everything download but I think I will instead of playing universe nonstop trying to unlock characters.

I'm finally starting to see some cut scenes other then me being jumped before my match or someone buying a ticket and sitting in the front row so it's half ok at the moment.

Yay for me. Wish there was a proper continuous story/career mode like back in the day but you can't have everything. Dunno about everyone else but id happily take text on screen and no talking in order to have loads and loads of storylines with different paths to take. |
