I know a lot of people didn't enjoy this series because it strayed away from the games, but I still enjoyed it. It's probably one of the few decent horror video game to movie adaptations out there. I personally liked the 1st & 3rd ones. The second was just a mess. This one does look promising, though the 3D is off putting to me. I do love me some Ali Larter as Claire Redfield though.

She's invincible or something isn't she? I enjoyed the first 1 or 2. Gone off them a bit tbh, seems a bit pointless.
I'd prefer them to be much more like Res 2, struggling against the odds, running out of bullets and hope etc. not knowing who out of the living to trust.

Honestly, I love the games, but all the Resident Evil movies I’ve seen bored me to death.
I kinda liked the Silent Hill movie though.

Game wise I played Resi Evil 2 & 4 to death
Never really got into 1, HATED 3, Code Veronica was okay, 5 just did nothing for me
0 had Chambers as the main character so I didn't bother

I liked 2 and Code Veronica. Claire Redfield was pretty dope. Resident Evil 3 was cool too. The first movie was okay but the rest sucked. Still, I'll probably see this one in some form or another.

I want the original games into movies. Those would be more than interesting for a movie.
Resident Evil 4 would be tough to tackle as the whole game is mostly just Leon and Ashley. The others had Barry Burton, Billy, Claire, Chris, Wesker, Jill, etc.

The first two games could have made excellent movies, I believe. I don't know how they would ever wrap the ending up though. Same for the games actually.

The first Resident Evil game was amazing and could make for an awesome movie. I can still remember that mansion like the back of my hand even after all these years. The second was good as well. The rest I don’t really remember, which probably means they bored me. In fact I’m just reminded now that I’ve got Resident Evil 5 still sitting there from last year. I don’t think I’ve even completed it yet.

I think she's supposed to lose her powers or something, but I think they've definitely gone over the top with Alice. She'd make a great bad guy though. Apparently this movie is supposed to be a little bit closer to the games. Don't know how well that will work out though, considering they've changed so much. I'm just glad they're putting Claire in it again, despite how different she is from the games. Claire is hands down my favorite video game character ever. |

The preview I saw had her and a clone... or was it two clones using powers... the odd bit is they didn't use them for the whole fight.....

I think out of all of the resident evils while I love the first the third (nemesis) and RE 4 would make awesome movies. All the cut scenes in nemesis made me felt like I was watching a movie and I felt for the characters. Nikolai was one tough hombre.

Actually I think his name was mikhail, the guy who sacrifices himself on the train with the grenade in an attempt to kill that asshole known as the nemesis.
